Sarpy County, Nebraska

Sarpy County is a county located in eastern Nebraska, along the Missouri River and south of Omaha. It is named for Peter Sarpy, a man essential to the development of Nebraska Territory.

The largest city is Bellevue while the seat is Papillion. It borders Douglas, Cass and Saunders Counties in Nebraska; as well as Pottawattamie and Mills Counties in Iowa.

Main highways include I-80, US-6, US-75, NE-50 and NE-85.
